My colour is yellow. It's my favorite colour-- but it's also a lifestyle.

My shirts are yellow. My sweaters are yellow. Strangers know me as "the one with the yellow hair" My bath towels are yellow. My stapler is yellow. I've dyed my shoes yellow. I've painted my dresser yellow. Sometimes, I have to stop and think, "Do I want to buy this item because I like the item, or do I just like that it's yellow?"

The best yellow is a warm yellow.

Golden yellow. Mustard yellow. Safety yellow. Sunflower yellow.

But beware of the false yellows, the greenish-yellows and the yellow-greens! They are not of the yellow that sparks joy. ;)

I love finding shopping lists lost in grocery store parking lots or abandoned in shopping carts... It's such a neat peek into existence.

I collect "best friends" necklaces that have been donated to thrift stores. I know there's a story behind each oner-- once upon of time, each of these necklaces/bracelets really meant something to at least one person... There's something beautiful in that.
