QnT Profile Treat of the Month Club

9-20 thru 10-22

This will be a monthly group swap where you send your partner one Profile Treat and a cheerful note of encouragement.

Life can be rough and we all have tough times so here is an opportunity to get a little something in the mail to cheer you up each and every month! During 2011 we’ll have a Treat of the Month club swap and you will receive one Profile Treat from one partner. Partners will be chosen each month from the list of folks that signed up for that month. It will be your choice to join or not in any given month.

Senders feel free to ask your partners for suggestions if you don’t see anything in their profile that screams “send-me”. You might want to keep a $3 to $5 guide in your head when sending, but be generous because it’s the thought and effort that goes into a “treat” that makes it special not the price.

Be sure to include a cheerful note with each treat. I love to be the bearer of good news, don’t you? Let’s make a goal in 2011 to spread around the happiness and cheer, as I’m convinced we’ll all benefit from the effort!

Remember the swap-bot golden rule: Always send the quality you would want to receive.

Treat suggestions:

--a fat quarter of their favorite fabric, or larger cut

--something your partner collects (buttons, doilies, 5” fabric charms, etc)

--something you made just for them based on their profile likes

--a sewing tool you think they might like (new pins with decorative heads, etc)

--something from their profile not listed here

--angel something they were flaked on

Now get to spreadin’ the cheer!

Thanks for doing these swaps, Dottie. It's fun to think of a "treat" that's not quite the every day swap item. And of course, I love being on the receiving end too.
