Description:

This swap came from another Group and @dolphingirl was the host. I hope we get a great turnout, like we did last year in the Halloween Year Round Group. =D Thanks to the group and to dolphingirl for the inspiration!

Fill a package with 13 small, wrapped gifts (handmade is preferred although store bought or a mix of both is fine). Your partner will open a gift (starting October 19) a day leading up to Halloween! You can number the gifts 1 through 13, or leave it a random luck of the draw, but please make sure the gift to be opened on Halloween is special and identified as "Halloween day."

$15-$20 on the entire swap would be fair although you could make most of the items and save money. Usually with a swap like this I try to spend $1-$2 on the days leading up to the big day then $5 on the last day but some days you might spend more than that and some days less but to average it out $15-$20 seems fair.

As for food items I think that a mix of food treats and non food would be perfectly fine. I usually look at my partners profile for an idea of what candys they like. On a swap like this I might do 1/3 candy and food treats and 2/3 non food items. I usually try to send a mix of items so that hopefully if they don't care for one or two items they still get a ton of things they like.

Ideas for your package Halloween decorations, halloween jewelry, Halloween craft items (beads, buttons, paper punches, rubber stamps, stickers, etc...) socks, gloves, leg warmers, wrist warmers, Nightmare Before Xmas Items, Pin back buttons, scrapbook stuff, Martha Stewart Halloween items, black orange or purple candles, ribbons, candy treats, stationary, cookie cutters, bento items that fit the theme, books (used books that fit the theme are a wonderful gift!) books on true ghost stories from your area.
