Swap description: Keep it moving!
In the spirit of BookCrossing, let's keep those crossed books travelling! Although you are welcome to join this swap with any book you have registered at BookCrossing (the journey must begin somewhere!) this is also an opportunity to pass on books that you have found in the wild, picked up at an OBCZ (Official BookCrossing Zone), or even in the previous round of this swap. :)

This is an open-themed swap, so bear in mind that the book you receive is unlikely to be on your wishlist Γ’β‚¬β€œ but on the other hand, you may serendipitously receive a book that would otherwise never have crossed your path, and it's always fun to try something different. :) (N.B. if you do receive something you would never read in a million years, well, re-release it into the wild or an OBCZ and help it find a more appreciative new home!) Although this is an open-themed swap, please take care not to send anything which may be considered offensive.

Swap requirements

  • Swappers must have no late swaps on their dashboard, no 3 ratings in the last 3 months, and no 1 ratings in the last 12 months. I will check before assigning partners.

  • Books sent may be new, second-hand or previously crossed but must be in good, readable condition and registered with a BCID from the BookCrossing website.
  • Please make a BookCrossing journal entry upon receiving your swap, as well as rating your partner.
  • Send on time!

There was some discussion under the last round about who could send/receive German books as we seem to have quite a few German members in the group. Perhaps we should add a note here if there are any other languages besides English we are happy to read in?

For the record, I don't have any German books to pass on, but it wouldn't be a problem for me to receive German-language texts as my family all speak German (everyone but me, that is!). I could also pass on a Spanish language book. Other languages I'm afraid I don't have an outlet for...

Please note: sign-up date brought forward by 1 week. Send-by date is unchanged.

maybe I should add my bookcrossing name here, too ;) it's (trinschen)[http://www.bookcrossing.com/mybookshelf/trinschen/]

I can pass on German and English books and I like to read books in both languages.
