Description:

Let's do a "bag" swap!

We didn't have many participants for the Sticker bag swap last month so this time I'm going to open it up for all types of bags, except: NO LABEL BAGS!

You will have 1 partner and you will send them 4 "bags" of any type but label. This can include:

  • Sticker bags
  • Memo sheet bags
  • Goodie bags
  • Stamp bags
  • Button bags
  • PC bags

or any other kind of bag I haven't heard of! This is Sender's Choice on what to send. New or established is okay. If you don't have some bags already, feel free to make your own!

Need an example? I have some pics of sticker bags on my Flikr HERE Basically it is any size envie with the home address/info and spaces on the back to be signed by 4 or more people. Some simple instructions like "take out 3, add 6 back into the bag" or something similar.

I am so happy for this one! I have several goodie bags! Yay!

So if we don't have bags, we make 5, fill them up and send them off?

So what do we do with the bags when we get them? Save them for another swap or something???

So they just go on the very merry way and one day in the future they come back???

Yes, you can make new ones if you like. You don't have to fill them up, just add a few of whatever the bag is for so the first signer can take a few.

When you get your swap bags then you follow the instructions for each bag and sign them. (Unless you just don't like them, maybe you HATE stickers or something.) If you want an example of a goodie bag or stamp bag just drop me a PM and I'll take a few more pictures.

And I'll have these swaps once a month so you can pass them along then. Or there are usually other public swaps for different kinds of bags. =) Usually one day not too far from now it will make it's way home to you. The last signer of a bag is supposed to send it home. I like to add my email address so that if I move the last signer can contact me for the right address.

Thansks for that tiggerkitn25!

Do they generally stay "flat" so postage home is not massive? I'm in australia, flat is good!!!!!

Wouldn't button ones become pretty massive? Or paper squares be extremely heavy and expensive to postage?

Buttons would get a little bulky if you got more than two. Those are just a suggestion as I got one recently and thought it was cute. I think it was take 3 and add 5 so it still wouldn't get too big.

I've mailed a few sticker bags to Australia and it usually isn't too bad on postage. The goodie bags might get a little bulky for you too as they have a bunch of odds and ends. But stamps, PCs, stickers, memo sheets all are pretty flat and lightweight. =)
