Mail Art - Handmade Postcards - Edited!!

I love mail art - it's one of my favorite sort of swap items to make..I love getting it too.. its fun, it's unique and it's not very expensive to send.. You don't have to worry about having the right extras or sending extras at all - b/c it's a postcard... where would you put the extras?? That's my point exactly!! So here are the particulars for this swap:

• You will make 3 postcards - one for each of your three partners

• SENDER'S CHOICE!!! So you can get started right away

• This is an open theme swap

• Absolutely ANY medium (fabric, paper, mixed media, watercolor, hand drawn, anything!!) is welcome as long as it is sturdy enough to mail it naked.. which leads to the next point..

• PC MUST MUST MUST be mailed NAKED (which means - stamped, written on, and NO ENVELOPE) .. you may, however, laminate it to make it more sturdy.. I do and have yet to have one get lost or destroyed in transit. Be sure to stamp AFTER you laminate it though.

• Must be original artwork and NOT a photocopy or print made by sites like vistaprint. You may use mixed media techniques with ephemera however.

• No recent or multiple 1's or 3's.. Newbies welcome on a case by case basis with a WELL filled out profile and some sort of link to pictures of your work.

If this swap is well received I anticipate creating more swaps like this and perhaps some with themes and such.

EDITED - I CHANGED THE CLOSING OF SIGN UPS TO THE 23RD INSTEAD OF THE 26TH (BUT LEFT THE DEADLINE AS IT IS). HOPE THIS WON'T BE A PROBLEM FOR ANYONE!! THAT MEANS IF YOU ARE WATCHING AND STILL WANT TO JOIN YOU HAD BETTER DO IT ASAP!!
