Description:

@KarlaKC has kindly allowed me to use her idea for this wonderful swap. I had so much fun participating and I wanted to share it with you all. The partner I had said that my postcards were like having a visit from a friend each day...and that's what I want for everyone ;^)

This will be an International swap, and you will have 1 partner. For 6 days, you will commit to mailing a purchased postcard to your partner. Please include a note on your postcards (a few ideas....tell your partner something about your day, a favorite hobby, something interesting about where you live, etc...make it interesting and chatty), include the swap name, and mail them naked and stamped. In keeping with the spirit of this swap, please make sure your letter carrier receives your postcard DAILY or that you drop it off to your postal clerk DAILY. In other words, if you drop that day's postcard in a postal box AFTER HOURS, it will probably be processed in the following days mail, creating a break in your partner's daily postcard receipts. If a break happens, it happens, but as far as we can control our end of the swap, let's try to have consecutive cancellation dates on our postcards. After all, we're striving for 6 days of DAILY postcards.

You will have until May 14 to sign up for the swap. I'll assign partners on Sunday, May 15. You will mail out the first PC on Monday, May 16. The last card should be mailed out on Saturday, May 21....6 postcards....6 days total....

Newbies are OK with a well filled out profile. If your ratings are questionable, I will not allow you to participate. This is fun...I hope many of you will join up!!

Most importantly, have FUN!!

We have no mail collection on a weekend in my area, so the last card would only go out on the Monday after the Saturday. Is this still ok?

Yes, I know that the mail is not handled the same way everywhere. No worries!
