Description:

Find a tiny little animal or character and create a matchbox world for him or her. The box should hold accessories for your critter; ideas are food, clothing, toys, books or other things your critter would like for the trip to a new owner. At least 4 things not including the critter. The critter should fit in the MB. The box should be decorated to represent the world the critter lives in. Ex: Pooh Bear-Tree, Dinosaur-Volcano, Teddy Bear-Bed, Toy Story Character-Toy Box.

You might try a dollar store or those machines in grocery stores with things inside plastic eggs. I found Toy Story and Winnie the Pooh themed critters in one.

Create an Adoption certificate or letter of introduction. Include the name, where born/found, likes and dislikes, previous owner, new owner, age, hobbies and what the critter eats.

If you'd like to make the MB yourself and have a scoring board, I've got a YouTube video you can see. My channel is rebeccacell or use Rachel's Template.

*Stickers, AS ACCENTS, should be limited to high quality scrapbooking or card making stickers, not the kind meant for kids or teacher’s reward stickers.

*If you use rubber stamping, please stamp cleanly; missed areas or double lines are not acceptable. Please do not use computer generated images or sentiments because I have been very disappointed by images printed in very poor quality lately. (If you print them well using very good quality paper and ink, your partner won’t know and can’t rate you badly for it can they?? Wink wink!)

*Please make a beautiful matchbox you are proud of and would be thrilled to receive. Make sure your work is clean and precise. No glue should show and straight cuts need to be straight.

*Please don't be discouraged by my rules. I am only referring to general tidy practices, not tiny flaws. I've received a card so saturated with glue I could knock on it and get hollow noises! I've received a note book with edges that looked like they had been cut with a saw! I just expect tidy work!

*Please check your partner’s profile for dislikes and avoid those. For instance, do not use bright orange, green or blue on mine as that is on my profile.

*Please have a 4.95+ rating to join and no 1's EVER or 3's in the last 6 months. I will accept explanations of course, PM me ahead of the sign up deadline. Newbies are welcome with WELL FILLED out profiles (About Me, Likes, Dislikes at least) and MUST PM me at least 3 days before the end of the swap to show good intentions. A newbie is someone with less than 5 completed and rated type 2 or 3 swaps. If you see a flaker has joined, don't worry, I will weed them out. If you are really worried, give me a heads up! I’ve only been a member since March and been flaked on too many times, I've stopped keeping track, so I get it!

Enjoy, Rebecca

Tonie2weeks: I edited the date because I am exhausted today (why do I always leave things to the last day-sigh) and I noticed the third person has not sent yet either. Thanks for being a good swapper and sending on time!
