Description:

This ATC swap is for anyone who might be afraid that his/her work is not going to be "good enough" - those who are worried about disappointing partners with a new craft, and those who want to support swappers who are new to ATCs.

You will create one ATC for your one partner. Please relax and enjoy the process! You can use any media - collage, paint, colored pencil, photography, scrapbook supplies, fibers, markers, you name it! Try to have fun and not worry too much about what your partner will think - if you try your best and put effort into it, you will be just fine, trust me.

ATCs must be 2.5 by 3.5 inches. That is the only real rule. Please put your information on the back of the card - I usually include the name of the ATC swap, the title of the ATC (if I have one!), my real name and swapbot name and the date. Most people like a sturdy card - it is not a "rule" like the size rule, but if you are making something on paper, please use a sturdier paper and not just copy paper or something similar. Bristol board, cardstock, watercolor paper - these are all good choices. Of course, if you make your ATC out of fabric or something else, that will influence the sturdiness.

Please make sure that your are packaging your ATC safely so that it will get to your partner unbent and unwrinkled. If you use 3D elements, this may mean bubble wrap or a bubble wrap envelope. I usually protect mine by putting it in a plastic sleeve and then in a sturdy notecard or by wrapping it in bubble wrap.

I am linking some articles that habe other links in it for those who need a little more help. Also, if you are a little worried and need some support, please feel free to pm me and I can see what I can do to help you out. I am not an expert on making ATCs, but I do feel pretty good about the ones I make. Also, please feel free to post links in the comment section to other helpful websites on making ATCs if you have a good source. Here is how you link on SB:

REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN!

New swappers welcome with a filled out profile, this means at least a few paragraphs in the personal section of your profile. Six sentences is not a filled out profile - if you don't have at least a few paragraphs, I will ban you from this swap. Please do this BEFORE the sign up date has ended. If you need help with your profile, please pm me - I will be happy to help you get started on filling out your profile.

Established swappers welcome with 4.9 or higher and no unexplained 1s or 3s.

I do check every single perspective participant's profile for flakage, unsent swaps in the dashboard and comments that lead me to believe you will not fulfill this swap to your best ability. If you have any of these issues by the day after sign up, you will be banned from this swap.

Finally, if you have been known as having two or more profiles, please do not join this swap. I am not allowing anyone that has had double/multiple profiles to join my swaps.
