Description:

Just a simple PC (Postcard) swap.

You will send one postcard to your one partner. On the back of that postcard, you will write one simple haiku and a note. For the note you can add why you wrote about what you wrote, what you think of the picture on the postcard, just wish your partner a nice day, etc. (Or a few words in your own language if you speak something other than English).

The haiku must be written by you.

It would be nice, also, if the postcard were related to the topic of the haiku or was something your had stated an interest in. (Like if you wrote about the sun on a postcard of the sunset, or if your partner mentioned that s/he likes horses so you chose a horse postcard, but still wrote about the sunset.) OR you could just send something that looks nice, LOL. Store-bought cards are preferred. If you would rather make one by hand, please ask your partner for their opinion on handmade cards before writing your haiku on it and sending. :)

Postcards should be sent naked*. The date, name of the swap, and of course, the name of the swapper should be on the back in the column with the haiku.

*Naked refers to a postcard being sent without an envelope. Just written on, stamped, and put in the mail.

How to write a haiku:

A haiku is written with three lines of 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables

Example:

Writing a haiku Is a simple and fun way to express yourself

If you are unsure of how to count syllables, there are syllable counters that you can find on Google (though I'm not sure how they work).

Requirements: Those with recent 1s and 3s should message me with their reasons. No outstanding swaps. Swappers with well-filled out profiles only (That goes for newbies and vets). All swappers are required to rate. I have the right to ban you if need be, and I will.

***This swap is a very quick one. :) If I need to push it back by a few days then I will. If it's successful, perhaps I will make another one at a later time. *** If there are any questions or concerns, feel free to message me or comment below.

Happy swapping, Lemonleaves
