Description:

This was a great swap the first time around and some people had asked to do it again, so here it is!

I love the penny smashing machines at touristy places such as museums, amusement parks and the zoo. They even have one at our favorite local bookstore now!

For this swap, you will have two partners. Please send one smashed coin to each person. It can be from any coin smashing machine--local to you, or one you got while on vacation. (But for this swap, please do not send 'blank' smashed coins, like the ones you get from placing coins on the train tracks.)

Also, include a short note (any paper is fine) describing the place you got it from and any interesting facts you wish to share about it.

Minimum rating of 4.75. Newbies with a well-filled out profile accepted. I will angel if necessary, but this is an easy swap, so it shouldn't be be necessary.

I know this must be a silly question, but would pressed penny machines be more rarer/not exist in countries that don't commonly use US currency?

@OreoWellington The last time I hosted this swap, I thought that the machines might not exist in other countries, and I only said pennies. Then I found out that there are 'elongated coin' machines in other countries as well. So for this second round I was careful to word the swap to say 'coin' instead of penny. I don't know how common the machines are in other places, perhaps someone else can let us know if they have that information.
