Silly question...What is the difference between indigo and blue?

Officially Wickpedia says,"Indigo is the color on the electromagnetic spectrum between about 420 and 450 nm in wavelength, placing it between blue and violet. Although traditionally considered one of seven divisions of the optical spectrum, modern color scientists do not usually recognize indigo as a separate division and generally classify wavelengths shorter than about 450 nm as violet.[2] Optical scientists Hardy and Perrin list indigo as between 446 and 464 nm wavelength.[3]"

I always look at it as a dark deep blue. I kept it in the swap because it is still one of the colors of the rainbow. So one item a lighter blue and one a darker blue?!

@LaLuna I always see indigo as a deep purple and blue as, well, blue. I suppose it's kind of a purplish bue but I go more to the purplish side as it follows violet :o)

urgh, I obviously can't type today. I meant purplish blue, not purplish bue :o)

I love the color "bue"! :D

I would love it if my objects were small enough to fit inside of a bottle cap! Only if you can.
