Description:

Green will be our color for this swap, and here is how this is going to work:
You will send 3 Green items to your partner. 1 item MUST be homemade by you. (it can be anything, as long as the primary color is Green) The other two items can be ANYTHING, as long as their primary color is Green. So, your package may look something like this...

Green Homemade necklace
Green Ink pad
Candy with a green wrapper
or
Homemade Green scarf
Baggie of Green ribbon
Journal with a green cover

(these are just examples, the items can be anything you choose)

*The items do not have to be new, but they do need to be in good condition and something that you would be thrilled to receive. You may take a look at your partners profile and see if you can send something they have on their wish list, but this is SENDERS CHOICE. No recent 1's or 3's and it is my choice to ban anyone I feel may flake, although I really don't see that happening with this group. =) Lets set the $value at $5-$7. So........who wants to give this a whirl?

I was just curious to know that if I were to join this swap, even though I don't like the color green if would be okay to do so for my daughter since green is her favorite color?

LaLuna 02/ 6/2011 #

I would be the one swapping, just passing along what I receive to her.

Nobody really minds if you give your gifts to your daughter. What is frowned upon is when one has their daughter/son/ward/other random kiddo create the item they are sending in the swap. You have to do that yourself.
Acceptable: I am going to give my long-haired daughter the green hair clips if I receive any in this swap. But I make and buy all the items I send out to my partner by myself. Unacceptable: I had my daycare class create a green collage for this swap. I think my partner will love it! Is that clear, or am I just more confusion?

Would it be acceptable to handmake all the items? Or is 1 handmade item the limit?

LaLuna 02/19/2011 #

@Amigirl ..Thanks much. That made things perfectly clear. I would definitely be the one to do the crafting etc. I just didn't want to step on any toes.

I did this swap for another color and I sent more than one handmade article. However, I sent about 8 items and I think a couple of them were storebought.

Amigirl is right...you can pass on any items to anyone, but you must make the handmade item yourself. phtbtmgrl, you may make more than one item, but let's not send 3 of the same thing. Like 3 atc's or pairs of earings, etc. 3 different items, at least one handmade which must be green, is the idea of this swap. Hope this clears things up. ^_^

Oh LaLuna, just a reminder, this is senders choice so your partner is not required to send things for a child(not sure how old your daughter is), but they are welcome to if they are a dear and they wish to. So please keep that in mind when rating. Thanks! ^_^

LaLuna's daughter is 21, according to her profile! So I guess she will be good with an adult package!
