Description:

I love Valentine's Day and can't let the holiday pass by without an Edibles swap! In the US, Valentine's Day is a time to celebrate love but also a celebration of friendships. I adore the exchange of Valentine cards and the yummy chocolates that are available this time of year.

For this swap we will:

  • have 1 partner.

  • send our partners one or more Valentine chocolates with a minimum value of $3. If you do not have Valentine-themed chocolate available to you, you may send a nice chocolate (not a cheap candy bar, but something "special") and wrap it or decorate it with a Valentine theme (red/pink/white/hearts, etc.).

  • include a Valentine card. This may be store-bought or handmade. Do not worry about being a master paper crafter, but give your best effort if handmade. Inside write your partner a little note to personalize the swap, a few sentences and more than just your name and the swap name.

Please note that there is a faster turnaround time for this swap than usual for group swaps. We want to give our packages a good chance at reaching their destination before February 14th!

The usual group rules apply:

  • Send foods in commercially sealed packaging for health and customs reasons. Be sure to check expiration dates before sending.

  • Be courteous by sending our swaps on time and rating our partners when we receive. In the rare circumstance that you must be late, it is expected that you will contact both your partner and the swap host.

  • Package your swap appropriately to protect the contents. Zip-top baggies are smart for containing unexpected breaks and leaks. Boxes rather than envelopes should be used for fragile items; crushed, squished, or otherwise broken swaps just aren't as fun! We all appreciate the efforts taken to keep our swaps enjoyable!

Who is up for a low-cost, sweet Valentine swap to put a smile on our faces? :-)
