should you write the message in the card or leave it blank? and on the message?

To the Swap Coordinator: just a thought for you: many who make/swap hand-made cards donate their stash (received and created) to various charities such as Cards for the Troops or other Non Profit Organizations or local fund-rasing gift shops. It is always appreciated to receive the card blank inside (with or without an envelope) and a nice note/letter inserted separately. The card creator should, of course, put their name and what-not on the back flap of the card, and best of all, enclose everything in a glassine/clear envelope to keep clean/fresh the contents.
After the eye candy is enjoyed, it can be moved along, re-cycled if you will, and serve another higher purpose: make someone else's heart or mailbox smile! It's a win/win idea for all of us involved in swapping our hand-made cards! Please soncider this suggestion when setting up new swaps. Thank you and Blessings to ya!

Vianna - that is such a good idea!! :)

perhaps if someone would like to donate the card that they get - they can write a comment here stating that? so their partner can keep that in mind...

Where would you go about donating a card? is there a website somewhere? I am curious :)

RetroJane 02/ 1/2011 #

Well, since I never heard from the coordinator with answers to our questions, I guess I am not going to join this swap.
