INTERNATIONAL!!!

Since postage will be pretty cheap to send these charms, I would like to invite our international friends to join in the fun:)))

This is R4 of a year long series of swaps which will have a different theme each month. The color for this month is Blue, so you will be sending print charms (no solids) to your partners in any shades of blue. The fabbies you choose can have any other colors also, but MUST have blue as the main color.

You will send 10 6" 100% cotton fabric charms (no more than 2 alike) to 2 partners, so you will be sending a total of 20 charms. All charms must be of some kind of print, tone-on-tone, marble, etc......NO SOLIDS ALLOWED!!!

6" charms are just the right size for making dotee dolls, piecing together to make quilts, or can be cut into smaller sizes for postage stamp quilts, turnovers, honey buns, inchies or any craft you use small pieces of fabric for. The charms you send can be any kind of print....stripes, polka dots, floral, marbles, etc., but no solids please and no more that 2 charms alike to each partner. Also, only send good quality fabric! I am not going to say that you have to send quilt quality fabric, but just make sure that the fabric you send is good quality and not so thin you can read the paper through it. Use a rotary cutter to cut your charms and measure accurately. We don't want anyone getting 5 1/2" or raggedy cut charms now do we??? Any extras you choose to send is entirely up to you:))

Here are the color themes we will be swapping for the remainder of this series:

  • R5 February - Red
  • R6 March - Black & White
  • R7 April - Yellow
  • R8 May- Pink
  • R9 June- White on White
  • R10 July - Red/white/blue
  • R11 August - Burgundy
  • R12 September - Neutrals

Newbies are welcome with a fully filled out profile. Seasoned swappers must have atleast a 4.9 rating with no 1 ratings within the past 6 months and no unexplained 3s. If you have acquired any 3s in the past you MUST have an explanation stated on your profile telling why you acquired the 3 rating(s). Anyone who flakes in any of these swaps will NEVER be welcome to participate in any of my swaps again and I will shout it from the highest mountain top!!! I will be more than happy to angel for anyone who happens to get flaked on....fair enough???

I joined since I just participated in the December swap. I hope my partners will rate me once their fabric is received so I can finally have a rating. :)

In your story you tell us that we have two partners, but the number of swap partners stays one...... Do you have one or two partners?

I have signed up as Blue is an all time fave colour of mine but I am a little unsure as to the other 11 months, do we rejoin every month or have we joined for the entire year through this one sign up??

I was wondering when the partnering is selected. It says the close date is Jan 5th and today is the 9th. I am hoping this doesn't mean that I am not in the swap. It appears that I am still signed up. Have partners been assigned or are we still waiting? :)
