Description:

I believe this is our 3rd Annual Favorite Cookie Recipes swap. Woo hoo!

December is cookie-baking month in my family. For as long as I can remember, we've been baking cookies at the end of the year, eating a bunch and freezing some for later. At Christmas time, we always have plates of assorted cookies out, and we usually try to make enough to share them with friends and neighbors. I can hardly wait for cookie-baking season again this year!

  • We will have 1 partner.

  • Send your partner 2 of your favorite cookie recipes nicely written or typed on recipe cards or nice card stock (firm enough to go into a recipe box). Recipe cards are usually 3 x 5 inches/76 x 127 mm OR 4 x 6 inches/102 by 152 mm.

  • Include a wintery card, handmade or store bought, in your swap, and tell your partner a little about the cookie recipes you're sending.

  • The twist: send to me a copy of your recipes via PM or email. Be sure to include your Swap-bot name, your real first name (if you're comfortable with that), and the location the recipe comes from. In turn, I will compile all of the recipes and send them via email to everyone participating in this swap. Please send me your recipes by November 29, and I will try to get all the recipes sent out to everyone by December 1st.

Group expectations to keep it fun for everyone: Sending your swap on time is required. If you have an extenuating circumstance, please PM your partner and the host prior to the send date. Rate your partner in a timely fashion too. Thanks!

I hope that this swap will give us the thrill of receiving a treasured recipe in the mail that we can save away in our recipe boxes but still allow us the variety of seeing ALL of the recipes that were sent in the swap. This swap is an easy one to participate in and definitely "the more, the merrier"!
