Description:

The object of this series is to make sets of inchies that are predominantly monochromatic. In the past we have done "Tickled Pink", "Lavendar & Lace", "Green with Envy", "Purple Rain", "The Black Market" and "Family Jewels"

This installment is "Lady in Red" or "Seeing Red" (I just couldn't pick ONE title).

Make 4 inchies each for 2 partners (8 inchies total). These 8 inchies can be any theme you want them to be; however, each inchie needs to be prodominantly RED in color.

Let me know if you have any questions at all - thanks!

Newbies are ALWAYS welcome in my swaps!

Thank you VERY much @ryanne18725 - I'm fairly new to Swap-Bot (but not to swapping) and am having a BLAST!

thank you for having a mailed swap that doesn't have a pre requirement of 5 mailed swaps

I'm new to inchies but really wanna try, the look so sweet! So we can make them out of anything then? I was thinking to do a combo for each partner, if that's allowed.

Hi. I have been doing atcs here but havent given inchies a go yet. I plan to join but need to know a few thing about the final product... Yes i understand each art piece is an inch square... are they mounted? are they sent just as the set but not all together... Is there a primer for standard inchie swap protocol? Thanks Betsy

I am so sorry that I didn't get back to people with answers to their questions before the sign-up deadline passed. I'm normally more on top of things than this.

Yes, inchies can be made out of anything as long as they are 1" square. Felt, paper, cardstock, fabric, polymer clay, tile, etc. They do need to be sturdy. Again, depending on the requirements of the swap they can be any technique - collage, hand drawn, sewn, beaded, stickered, painted, etc.

They do not need to be mounted on anything; however, one great inchie-maker I know always attaches sets of 6 inchies to an ATC sized piece of cardstock before she mails them - if you don't know how to store/display your inchies this allows you to just slip them in with your ATCs.

Depending on the swap requirements, sometimes inchies will be a "set", sometimes they won't be. In this swap, they just all have to be red - they don't all have to fall under a single theme.

If you go to Flickr and search for inchies you can see some great examples! And - don't worry if you missed this swap - I will continue to post public inchie swaps (I need to think of the next color for this series) - but may not be until after the first of the year. Also, "Inchie Love" is a great Swap-Bot group for inchie swaps!

Again, I'm sorry I missed some of you on this swap!
