Description:

This swap is for you more than for your partner. I have let other things come first and am hardly making any time to read (gasp!!). So... for this swap, you will read and read and read. It might be one book, it might be fifty...poems, short stories, whatever you like. Just read!

As you read, keep a very small notebook handy (of your choice); write the book title, author, and whether you liked it or not. A brief synopsis (3-5 sentences) would be nice, and an introductory letter to your partner. Don't stress about the journal... it should be FUN. Do what you like, but read, read, read.

This swap is over after the New Year (because... Christmas gets crazy!) so any time you can take some much needed reading time for yourself over the holidays... DO! There is no minimum or maximum required.

Please include a tiny gift for your partner as well...anything tea related... a favorite tea bag, a tiny spoon, even a little snack. You choose!

Start keeping track of your reading as soon as you sign up. I am keeping this one open for a while, because we don't need partners assigned to start our reading! :) You may send your journal out anytime after January first and before January 21st.Creativity is not required but is always enjoyed. :)

Normal group guidelines apply. Any member in good standing may participate.

I am going to go read NOW. :)

And I have finished book number one... woo-hoo! :) (I know, it took me a while... but I haven't allowed myself a lot of reading time. That is the point of the swap! :)

I love this idea for a swap :)) I'm currently in a similar swap, so it's great that I can use the same material for both :)) One question, though... do the books we write about have to be fiction? I have to read a lot for university and some books are very interesting (though nerdy, I'd have to give you that). Maybe our partners could benefit from those as well?? Just a thought^^

I, too, am in a similar swap, Florcis, the annual reading logs.

A package went out to my partner today. Unfortunately, it's coming in two parts (a package and an envelope). After I sealed and put stamps on mailer I remembered I'd forgotten to include something.

Enjoy though!
