Description: | |
For this swap we will have two partners and we will make each partner a 12 x 12 inch quilt block with the pattern for this month. Make sure you leave a quarter inch seam all the way around, so the square actually ends up being 12.5 x 12.5 inches. This month's pattern is Pineapple Blossom. XXXXX PLEASE USE THE CUTTING DIRECTIONS IN RED! Then follow the directions using the corresponding pieces, squaring up after each set of strips and corners; very important!. We are only sending the primary block. The bonus scrap blocks are yours to keep! There will be one extra day since the 31st is Sunday. XXXXX October's color is Opal. Since opals have flashes of many colors, either use a multicolored/rainbow fabric or choose at least 4 different colored fabrics(you can use more) to use for your strips and a light, white or cream print for the squares. No novelties or solids please. QBOTM GUIDELINES Γ’β¬Β’If you join the QBOTM, you don't have to stay in it for each round. It's not a requirement that you join each month. Γ’β¬Β’Make sure the fabrics are all 100% cotton quilt fabrics and blocks are 12.5 by 12.5 inches when finished. Take care in sewing the scant 1/4"seams. Γ’β¬Β’If you flake on any of these swaps you will be banned from future QBOTM swaps and I will report you to the group founder. We don't want swappers like that in this group. Please ask any and all questions. |
