Description:

Autumn is one of my favorite seasons; I love the colors of the changing leaves as well as the bounty of the fall harvest.

For each of your 2 partners, you will:

  • Create one handmade card in an autumn theme (colorful leaves, pumpkins, sunflowers, harvest time, etc.) for your partner to receive and enjoy. Please write a note inside the card as if you were writing to a friend; do not write it on a separate piece of paper.

  • Send two autumn recipes (appetizers, main meals, side dishes, breakfast breads, dessert, etc.). Try to include the nutrition information if you can.

Newbies allowed with a well-filled out profile.

*Edited 9/9/10: You are free to make your recipe cards anyway you choose (written, typed, or printed out onto handmade or store-bought recipe cards or plain paper), **but please also decorate them in some way with an autumn theme. This could be using rubber stamps, using autumn themed papers, adding autumn themed embellishments, etc. Have fun with this.***

Are the recipes supposed to be written, tryped or printed onto handmade recipe cards, store bought recipe cards or just printed out on paper? This swap sounds like fun, but I think it would be fun to make our recipe cards handmade too rather than just sending out printed out recipes? Or are they supposed to be written on the note cards we make?
