Description:

This is a gluecard swap. A gluecard is like a gluebook, only it's a card. Let's make them the standard ATC side (2.5x3.5) The only rule is that you glue stuff to it.

Here's a site for some ideas and inspiration:

http://home.earthlink.net/~kpequignot/id14.html

You will make 3 cards. You will send 1 card to each of 3 partners.

I'm new at this, and don't claim to be a juried-artist. I hope the participants will enjoy some creative exploration, in making and receiving cards.

Newbies welcome if your profile is filled out. If you've got a history of no-sends, explain to me in an email.

What is a glue card? I went to the website and it looks like collaging to me. Same thing?

Well, here are the 'rules' for GlueBooks. GlueCards would be the same, only on a ATC card size. Yes, it is another version of collage. There is a Yahoo group for GlueBooks if you get the glue-bug!

The Official Gluebook Rules:

  1. Find a book. Any book. Spiral bound, blank, composition, used, old, new, whatever---it's your gluebook. (For a gluecard, just use a 2.5x3.5 card.)

  2. Find some glue. Any glue you like---you're the one who is going to use it.

  3. Find some things to glue. Any things you like---you're the one who will be gluing them.

  4. Glue with reckless abandon.

That's it! Low-key. See what happens. Discover the unexpected.

Very easy, breezy!

So use glue only? Or can you stamp/color/etc. as well as glue? Thanks!
