Description:

Let's make a collage as a means of telling others about a cause you believe in. Many of us know about issues that really need the word spread ... for me, it is the cocoa trade and its methods including child slavery, human trafficking, child abuse, etc. For you, maybe it's poverty in your own country, or a particular disease or condition, or global warming, or dolphin slaughter, or girls in sport, or ... well, you get the idea. There are many issues "out there" that could use more exposure as part of the plan to resolve them.

You will make your partner one collage. Base should be around 8x10 (so, 8x10, or 8.5x11, or A4, etc). Make it on a sturdy base so that it will hold its shape and be frameable or hangable on its own. Finish it with enough topcoat to make it one solid piece, rather than risk anything falling off.

Due to the nature of the subject matter, please note that it is possible for some materials to be offensive. Some of these issues themselves are offensive, by their very nature. It would be difficult to depict starvation without showing starving people. So if you do not wish to see images that may be disturbing, please don't join this swap. At the same time, please bear in mind that you can make your point without making a piece so graphic that your partner cannot stand to look at it. You're aiming for thought-provoking, not utterly shocking.

Who may join?

Anyone with at least five real-mail swaps under their belt, and no 1s nor 3s in the past 3 months. I reserve the right to exclude anyone whose feedback is iffy, whether on "real" ratings, or tags etc.
