Mini Art YoYo Quilt

For this swap let's make a mini yo-yo quilt suited for a doll, or wall hanging etc. it has to be at least 6x6 or larger. size and color are senders choice so it's an easy one to complete even prior to partners being assigned. or you can wait and choose colors your partners will like.

If you google "yo-yo quilt" under the images heading, you'll find many fine examples of yo-yo quilts both full size and mini's.

you may choose to back the quilt or leave it open. i think they look very nice with a solid color background sewn to them as a backing.

you may also choose to make it a patterned yo-yo or random colors. this should be an easy project for all and i think perhaps a first of it's kind. since we've been making monthly yo-yo's i thought this would put some to good use.

they should be no larger than 5" diameter prior to being gathered and sewn. which means approx. a 2.5" yo-yo when gathered but can be smaller if you want. Let's make them colorful and beautiful and most of all, have fun!

now for the necessary stuff, newbies are welcomed but only if you have 10 swaps under your belt and a rating of at least 4.9 that way there's less chance of flakers. please don't sign up if you know you can't complete the swap. and if you're going to be late, please, please communicate that well in advance. but please try to have yours ready and mailed on time. thanks so much.
