Description: | |
I love making cards with moving parts. They are fun to make and I always get great comments about them. Parts of the card that slide, pop up and twirl delight the receiver! They are way easier than you might think; I am listing tutorials at the end of the details, most have videos too. Please look at some of the videos before dismissing this swap as too hard! If you prefer to browse rather than clicking on them all one at a time, visit http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/C87/ for a photo list of all the tutorials (not all are cards with moving parts but there are lots!) In this list, tutorials with a video are indicated by the small TV icon beside the name. This card must include moving parts as part of the card. The main image(s) must be rubber stamped; please stamp cleanly, missed areas or double lines are not acceptable. Please use at least 2 layers and 3 embellishments on the main area of your card. Make each card a minimum of 4.25รขโฌย x 5.5รขโฌย AFTER folding. Round or shaped cards must be a minimum of 4รขโฌย, smallest diameter. Feel free to buy your card locally or in a handmade online shop if you wish to participate and do not make your own cards. Please use ALL quality items to make this card. If you prefer CAS (clean and simple) designs with only one layer, please send me an image of the card at least 3 days before the sign up deadline and I will decide if the card is acceptable. Please do not be offended, I am only trying to rule out a plain piece of CS with an uncoloured/undecorated/unembellished stamped image in the middle! Stickers, AS ACCENTS, should be limited to high quality scrapbooking or card making stickers, not the kind meant for kids. Do not use computer generated images for this swap except for sentiments and these must be excellent quality. Please write a message to your partner as if the card was meant for them but on a separate piece of paper so the card can still be used. Include an envelope if you have one. Please make a card you are proud of and would be thrilled to receive. Make sure your work is clean and precise. Please check your partnerรขโฌโขs profile for dislikes and avoid those. Other than that, this is senderรขโฌโขs choice. You do not have to use a tutorial below but please do something more challenging than a simple pocket card. Please have a 4.9+ rating to join and no 1's EVER or 3's in the last 6 months. I will accept explanations of course, PM me. Newbies are welcome with WELL FILLED out profiles and MUST PM me at least 3 days before the end of the swap to show good intentions. If you see a flaker has joined, don't worry, I will weed them out though there shouldn't be any on here. If you are really worried, give me a heads up! Enjoy!
