Description:

My dear friend and swap-bot buddie, MamaD has kindly allowed me the opportunity to take over this series of swaps.

--you will make 15 Half Square Triangles for your partners.

--you will have TWO (2) partners

Yes, that makes 30 blocks total. The idea is to send Half of the Triangle to your partner and keep the other half-but if you choose to just send one half to each of your partners-that's up to you!

--begin with a five (5") inch fabric square. After sewing your triangles, this will make them 4 1/2 inches.

--after sewing, please make sure you press them nicely. Then, if you need to trim to 4 1/2", be sure to center the seam in the middle of the block. Also, trim off the "dog ears".

--Make sure your colors are one light patterned or tonal fabric and one dark patterned or tonal fabric. Please no solids.

--100% cotton quality fabric

--Please do not ask for color preferences, as this is a scrappy type quilt block swap.

--Make sure you do not send duplicates of any of the squares. If you have paired a fabric with a different fabric, that is ok, but the goal is to get as many different ones as possible.

Requirements:

--You must have a rating of at least 4.90 with no "1's" in the last 3 months.

--You need to have at least 10 mailed/package swaps that you have been rated for.

--Important: If you are a non-rater please do NOT join,. Non-raters will be banned. No one likes to put effort into a swap-only to not be rated or have to beg for a rating.

--Always contact your partners before giving an unsatisfactory rating. This will give them an opportunity to correct whatever is wrong.

--I reserve the right to accept swappers, so please PM me if you want to join and do not meet these requirements.

so does each partner get 10 squares and you keep 10 squares?

15 finshed Half Square Triangles to each partner, total 30 squares sent....if you want to keep a set for yourself--begin with 30 pairs of 5" fabric squares (one light print, one dark print 5"X5"), on the back side of the lightest print draw a line down the middle from one corner to the next, sew 1/4" on either side of the line and then cut on the line which will give you 2 Half Square Triangles....send one to a partner and keep the other for yourself.

I love these blocks and make a set for myself to match each 15 I send out to partners. 15 blocks X 2 partners = 30 blocks sent, and if you keep 15 blocks per partner for yourself, that is another 30 finished blocks...which makes a total of 60 blocks
