Description:

I think we all could benefit from some good karma. For this swap you will do something nice for someone.Something they were not expecting and would greatly appreciate. You must not accept anything in return for doing the good dead. After you do this good deed you will e-mail your swap partners. You will then:

1) Explain what it was the good deed you did was. 2) Who the person you did the good deed for. 3) What was their reaction? 4) How did you feel afterwards?

For a heart you could take pictures of you doing the good deed or make a video if you like.

Please if you are not serious about actually doing the good deed then do not participate in this swap.I seriously beleive if you were to sign up and then make up some information and not do the good deed Karma will kick your butt!

This is newbie friendly with filled out profile!

For this one swap I will accept people who have 1's or 3's this would be a good chance to get on Karma's good side but dont mess with her she can be mean.

But by telling 20 people what good you did, doesn't that defeat the purpose of a good deed as you are receiving praise?

JMO but you said you must NOT accept anything in return but you are by collecting praise.

Just a heads up but I have been in swaps where people take the words literally and 3's get handed out all willy nilly.

Not trying to be a bitch :)

Agreed... I rarely ever quote the bible or Christians... but it's like the woman who flaunts her riches as she comes into town and holds open her hand to a beggar to show everyone around her that she's putting in a few silver coins and everyone is praising her for doing so.

But I don't think it's about receiving praise, but instead to inspire other people so that they can do similar good deeds if they want to.

Read a blog entry recently about a woman who documented her Random Actos of Kindness, one for each year of her life, in honor of her birthday. My sense was not that she wanted praise for her deeds, but rather that she was sharing the joy. I felt inspired witnessing her acts. They were like seeds to remind me to engage in all the possible ways to add kindness to someone's world.
