Description:

Come on, admit it, we all have them. Doubles or triples, or comic series that you picked up and then dropped. Comics you know you'll never pick up to read again! Well, pass them along to a fellow geek! Maybe you'll introduce them to a new series, or an old favorite, or one that no longer exists and hasn't for twelve years but HEY, we're all collectors and it might give us something to obsessively collect until we have them allll!

Rules!

  1. Send your partner at least 2 comics! Full size, no tiny freebies or free comic book day half issues. No limit on how old the comic is, but please make sure it is in good shape. A bent corner here and there won't hurt, but rips or missing pages are a NO NO!
  2. Send something small (and preferably flat) from your partners profile as a surprise. If they love a certain video game, maybe make them an ATC. If they love a certain anime, find a sticker with it. If they are a traditional crafter, send supplies they would like. Serenity fan? Find something Browncoatey. Etc Etc

Who can join? 1. Anyone with COMICS 2. You must have a rating of 4.5 or higher and NO recent no sends

Lets get Foundation 42 going again my peers~!

I think I must be a very snobby geek because most of my comics are bound as paperback books (graphic novels. lol.) I'd be happy to join and send one of them--they're all awesome-- but would that be inappropriate for this particular swap?

Actually though, I'm pretty sure if I check deep in my hoard I can find something more traditional and still awesome.

I think it would be an awesome surprise for someone to get a TPB! And the snobbishness is all how you look at it. I think the individual comics are more snobby because A. It costs a whole lot more, and B. It's the individual comic that may become valuable one day :D lol

So either or, trade or individual :D

I presume the Comicbooks should be in english...? Just to clear that out - might be a bit difficult to find something in english around here.

Well I can send a graphic novel or comic book. I can also make it manga. In fact, depending on what my partner prefers they may get more than one. ;)

I think most would prefer english, but if you happen to have another language comic sitting around then maybe message your partner when you get them and ask if it would be okay with them?

I think all my Marvel pre-date what's going on now. I mean Kitty Pryde is still going out with Colossus for heaven's sake. I'm glad age isn't a factor!

that's why I mentioned some oldies :D I love reading comics from the 80's or 90's personally haha
