Description:

BEFORE anyone gets too excited this is the queen mother load of inchie swaps (hosted by me, lol). If you are unsure in any way that you may not be able to complete all parts of this swap....PLEASE wait til the next swap to be posted later. No sense getting yourself into a pickle.

OK...for this swap we will have 1 partner and will be making our partner a total of "33" inchies. Yes 33.

There will be 11 themes. For each theme you will be making 3 inchies. The themes are listed below. No stickers allowed, unless you have them made to be 3D looking or pop-up made. (not sure what that's called) But no stickers placed onto the background.

This swap is made easy, so basically you can start when ever and you have plenty of time to start. =)

Here are the Themes......

  1. Floural

  2. Animals

  3. Nature

  4. Seasons (can be any)

  5. Holidays (can be any and not just the big ones like x-mas)

  6. Your choice

  7. Beads

  8. Words of Inspiration

  9. Wire

  10. Zentangle

  11. Fabric

For any inspiration you may need Flickr is awesome for that and finding out what zentangles are. If you have any questions please let me know.

  • Sorry but no newbies.

And no recent 1's. Must have a 4.8 or higher and explained recent 3's. I will be checking profiles.

Please put some creativity into your work and make only what you would want to receive or make for yourself. Also make sure they are sturdy on thin card board or card stock.

Have fun and get started as soon as you want!!!

you did it! this is so cool!

I like to use stickers but, not as the main design. I like to embellish them.... we can't do that?

Peacewytch 02/18/2010 #

Like the mega idea but would rather have more partners sending smaller quantities that add up to a mega amount for variety's sake.

CroLaneyL 02/19/2010 #

@kawaiibuttons you can use stickers, but you need to have them raise off the background as I mentioned above =)

@Peacewytch sorry you feel that way, but unless there are more that may want to do it that way, the swap stays as made =) Thanks anyway for you input.

too fun :D at the rate i'm going with mine, I'll be done sunday! lol.

CroLaneyL 02/20/2010 #

to be that quick would be awesome, lol. Just make sure they're sturdy =)

lol. no worries, nothing worse than a flimsy inchie. :D

Ok this is my 1st time making inchies. I have them all done. Do I have to put my info on the back of each of these tiny things? Also, any suggestions on how these should be packaged to be mailed? They are not all flat so I cannot, simply stack them.

iGirlZoe 03/18/2010 #

Shame it's closed to newbies. Will there be another one in the future? Would love to participate then. :)

CroLaneyL 03/18/2010 #

Well I recommend putting your name on them, that way no one can say they made it. But i guess it's up to you :) A bubble wrap envelope possibly or maybe tissue paper can work. Hope this helps.

Am I assuming correctly that we are allowed to use the inches we receive on other art work such as ATCs in the future? I mean, if not, what are we to do with them?

CroLaneyL 03/23/2010 #

@iGirlZoe .. sure I'll host another some time :)

@Bups ...Yes you can use inchies you already have on other art work in the future if that is what you like to do :)

Bramblebelle 03/31/2010 #

Of course you can reuse on other artwork, but there are also some really neat ways to display particularly nice ones, framed, etc, and some of them make darling charms for jewelry.
