I have some great wool suiting material that is super cute with the "Owl Coasters", but it is not "Valentine colors". Does it HAVE to be pinks and reds?

Yes.

I have what is probably a silly question. I was looking at the roller coaster pattern- it said that the templates would be at the end of tutorial. They weren't there. I'm not that great with the computer - learning something new all the time Is there something I should do to get them to come up? Thanks for the help.

@aleshapie - i would think that you could still use the suiting material, if you had some valentine colors to add to it...to make it "pop" valentines....in a "wool suity" kinda way. :)

do all four have to be the same.. or can i switch up the owls colours...

TerryF 02/ 5/2010 #

I think as long as they coordinate and look like a set, that should be fine.

Good idea creativebebe. Guess that's why you have "creative" in your moniker! lol

Sherry24, I couldn't find the templates either, but I think in this case that you could probably use circles about 4" in diameter as your finished size. Just add your 1/2" seam allowance onto that, which would be 5" cut. In this case, your batting would be 4" (or a tich less) in diameter.

Thaks Terry - I think that would work! :)
