Where You Live Creative Letter

This swap is pretty much a writting excersize in the form of a letter with the subject being "the place you live" You will try and describe it as best you can and poeticaly.

To start the letter we will take inspiration from Stienbecks famous opening line in Cannery Row: “Cannery Row in Monterey in California is a poem, a stink, a grating noise, a quality of light, a tone, a habit, a nostalgia, a dream.”

You will in similar fashion start it witht he name of the place you live, your street, town, part of a city, etc and follow it up with at least five metaphores to describe it.

After this the letter is up to you! You may want to write about your favorite hang-out or your area's history--whatever!

Include pictures, postcards, local newspaper pages or anything else you can find to give your partner a better picture of your area.

Since it is a letter swap and you can make as many copies as you want and its light lets make this more interesting and have three partners to send to and recieve from.

You have a month to send but can start writing your letter as soon as you want as it's not partner specific. Make sure you are sending your partner something cool to recieve!
