I loved the swap cards swap I was in not too long ago, and thought it would be fun to do again!

This is going to be a big swap, so I hope you are excited as I am to play.

You will have 5 partners, and you must send 10 cards to each. That is a total of 50 cards. If I do not get 5 people to sign up, we will make 10 for each person swap bot matches us up with.

You must have a rating of 4.5 to join, and no history of "no sends" ok?

what kind of cards?

TerryF 07/ 8/2007 #

They're about the size of business cards (it can vary) and usually have your SB name, the date, and the swap name on them (the amount of info on them can vary as well). We include them with our swaps so that the receiver has all of the basic info they need to identify the swap and rate the sender.

Should they be on card stock?

I'm glad you're running this one again. I meant to do a round 2 "after a while" but the "while" passed by quicker than I thought!

Swap cards should include at least a name (user ID, real name or both) and space(s) for writing in the swap title and date. Often they also include decorative elements.

They can be business card sized, but don't have to be. However, keep in mind that they get tucked into a swap envelope - so too bulky or too tiny isn't very practical.

In the last swap we had some fabulous cards - custom handmade rubber stamps, recycled greeting cards, fabric-backed cards stock, photos. It was great to see all the creative ideas.

I did this one the first time around and I loved the cards I got! I would love some with some witchy pictures on it! Ot even Halloween!

If you end up needing an 'angel' for this one, pm me- I'm not joining because I do my own already and don't need new ones- but I would be happy to help out if someone gets flaked on and misses out.

So....just to make sure: you make them with your partner's details on?

mediatinker 07/ 9/2007 #

Right, your partner's name goes on the card. She sends it with her future swaps, so it would be a little odd for it to have your name on it.

Yes LOL, I just realised!!!! I had some great ones sent to me with one of my swaps, but I've almost used them up now, so this will be a brilliant swap.

Posted most of mine today, except for Connie, who's my partner in another swap too, so should be making the post on Monday instead.
