Description:

I just picked up an old fisher price tape recorder and it made me remember growing up and making audio letters for my friends.

This swap will use a regular sized cassette tape and will be a tape of you talking to your penpal instead of writing. You can talk about anything you want, just be sure to introduce yourself and your life. In addition to talking, you can also put a few of your favorite songs on it. Be creative and have fun with it! Be sure to ask your penpal questions so they can send you a return tape. You must fill up at least one side of your tape. I'd like everyone to use 90 minute tapes if possible!

Feel free to make the packaging creative or include extras but that is not required.

This swap is open internationally. You must speak in English on your tape.

What a cool idea! I think I've got a tape recorder still lying around somewhere - I can't wait to check.

Ooo this sounds amazing, but I dont have a casette tape recorder. Would you consider doing a cd version of this in the future? Please :D

I love this idea. I have been "tape-sponding" for many years as I have eye-sight problems that prevent me from corresponding by letter. It is so good to hear your pal speaking on the cassette, especially if they have a broad accent :-)
