I love making digital ATCs, but I'm totally out of ink to print them right now, so it gave me the idea to send them by email!

For this swap, you will send 3 digital ATCs to 5 partners. You can send the same ATCs to all of them or different ones to each partner. Any theme, as long as they were made on the computer! Please specify in your message whether or not your partner can print off a copy for their collection if they so desire.

A quick and easy swap. Newbies welcome.

wow- never heard of these. I wish we could also just send an e-mail of some I've done and taken pictures of. How do you make digital ones?

I use photoshop, and there are similar free programs out there, though I have no personal experience with them. I like to download digital scrapbooking freebies to make atcs too...search "free digital scrapbooking" in any search engine.

G.I.M.P. from GNU (GNU Image Manipulation Program)is one of the free open source photo manipulation softwares out there. It's fairly easy to download from the link provided, and is a good safe program to experiment with. There are help tutorials and such included, and lots of info on the web, and I can answer some questions if you want to try it out.

You can use a free art programme like Artrage, which is excellent. WWW.ambientdesign.com, or go to www.CNET.com and look under the software downloads, under graphics/illustration.

I love the resources that people have suggested. I'm in. I really hope to be able to download what people send as I want to put them in my album.... Thanks!

I just finished my first one and I really like it! I have a degree in graphic design, so this is a lot of fun for me. I will probably end up making more than three.

P.S. I'm using photoshop and digi scrapbooking stuff (free and purchased)

What format is best to save and send in? I'm thinking a .pdf . Can someone confirm please?

Kimmikat 01/ 1/2010 #

I usually save it as a Jpeg, compress it and send as an attachment in an email.

I think you should make the swap that everyone is allowed to print out a copy of all the cards they receive. I do swaps to collect ATC's and it would be sad to get 15 but be unable to add them to my album. :)
