Description:

Just when you thought there could not possibly be a recipe out there that you do not own, a new swap is born! For this "Odds & Ends" recipe swap, you will choose 2 recipes to send to 3 different partners via postal mail.

The kicker: your recipes should NOT be for edible main courses, side dishes, cakes, pies, cookies, cupcakes, or other main dishes. Instead, choose 2 recipes for other things in or around the home that people need directions to make. Please do not sent recipes that require any special equipment or items that are not typically found in the average home, nor items that have ingredients or components that are hard to find/purchase.

Some suggestions for your "odds & ends" recipes:

  • sauces, marinades

  • beverages (hot, cold, punch, cocktails, adult/alcoholic, etc.)

  • glazes, compote, icing, or other toppings

  • bath/body items such as sugar scrubs or face masks

  • craft related items such as home-made adhesive for stamps, home-made silly putty, play doh, or other kids' items (Yes! I have actually had recipes for each of these items.)

  • home-made alternatives to store-bought products

  • natural/cleaning agents such as a home-made concoction guaranteed to fix/clean things

If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message and contact me. I hope this gets everyone's wheels turning and that you are able to find some great recipes or "instructions" to pass along to your partners!

Anyone with any 1 or 3 ratings will not be allowed to participate in this swap. For those that are new to Swap-bot, please have details filled out in your profile so I can at least identify you as a person and not a lurker or moocher. :)

Dec 29th - This swap has been edited and open to include Canadian swappers! Swap is open to USA and Canada. However, if there is interest from others, I am open to creating a second international swap.

@juli233 - Thanks for your interest. I will do another one in a month or 2 that is open to all. :)

@juli233 - Actually, I think I will just extend the date a few days and open this one up to Canada, also.
