I'm curious to find out why I received such a low rating from one of my partners. Did she hate the fact I'm from Michigan and sent a local card? I'm pretty sure that I met the requirements. I'm stumped. I wish people would contact each other before leaving a rating... geesh.

I'm in contact with my swapee... seems the card never made it. I'm sure it got lost considering my other partners got theirs just fine. I've made an offer to resend, but I haven't heard back from her.

Sorry to be such a comment hog... resending the postcard - I hope it makes it this time.

Hi Dawn- Not to worry, all comments (regardless of length) are appreciated! :-) I am happy to hear that things are in the process of being ironed out between you & your swap partner! Hope you got my reply email to your email inquiry as well. What's nice about the swap-bot rating system is unlike others, the rating can be updated should the situation change...for instance, an unreceived package finally turn up after globetrotting a while! ;-) I guess postcards are shifty little guys that tend to get lost in the shuffle. Take care, Dawn!

Yes, I do understand that some things do get lost. I wish more people would use the comment section though so I'm not sitting here thinking my swapee just didn't like what they got. If I had known the item was never received I would have made sure another was sent out right away... oh well.

Dawn- You are right. It would be nice if everyone elaborated in the comments section, but at least if we keep in mind that the swap-bot rating system only features 3 automatic ratings (noted below) we can kind of conclude what the situation is, even when someone doesn't comment: Ratings 5 - I got my stuff and it met posted swap requirements. 3- I got my stuff, but it didn't meet the posted swap requirements. 1- I never got anything.
