Show Off Your Vacation Postcard Swap

Next week I'm going to be on vacation. Will you be going somewhere (even if it's just across town) to mark the unofficial end of summer, too? Send one postcard, store-bought or handmade, depicting some aspect of your stay-or-va-cation destination to three partners so we all have a little love to come home to. Write a little missive about your favorite part of the trip or something that happened along the way, then stamp it and send it on.

Sign up by Friday, August 28. Send by Wednesday, September 9. If you won't have internet access during your trip, bring your partners' names and addresses with you and mark "sent" upon your return.

Newbies with a well-filled out profile are welcome; established swappers should have at least a 4.25 rating. (Please contact me if you do not meet this requirement to explain.) Preferably the postcard would be postmarked from your vacation spot, but can be sent once you're home if need be (but by the send-by date, in any case).

Your vacation is self-defined, so it can be anything from an antiquing day trip to a monthlong backpacking excursion in the Himalayas -- if you can sign up by August 28 and send by September 9, you're welcome to join!
