Swap Coordinator:Bedlam2Night (contact)
Swap categories: Challenges  Nature  Letters & Writing
Number of people in swap:24
Location:Other
Type:None
Last day to signup/drop:June 30, 2007
Date items must be sent by:July 7, 2007
Number of swap partners:2
Description:

Tell your swap partners (2) what's in your garden this year via a postcard that is horticulturally or agriculturally themed. Your postcard may be store bought or hand-made, just stick to the posted theme.

You don't have to have a garden the size of the back forty to participate. I am sure some of us do container gardening or the like.

You say you don't do that even? You can still participate in this swap. If you have a green spot you visit in a local park, tell your swap partners about it.

If you in fact do have a garden the size of the back forty, you do not have to attempt to describe the whole thing on a postcard. Tell about a new feature you added this year or your favorite perennials that you have planted there.

Let the creativeness of your garden (or someone's else's) inspire creativeness in your writing.

What a sweet idea for a swap, and nicely explained, too!

Mine are in the mailbox ready to go out with tomorrow's pick-up. Knitting Cateling and old-to-new, I hope you like them!

for the people who get my postcards I am housebound for the next couple of days and my postcards arent themed agriculturally (cant get out to buy that kind) but they do follow the rest of the requirements with what grows in my garden

Garden Postcards went out today to lcove2000 (we are neighbors!) and Lestat. My tomatoes are beautiful, but something (I'm suspecting a chipmunk), dug up and ate all my Nasturtiums before they even germinated!
