Who hasn't longed to win the lottery? And imagined just how they would spend their winnings? Well, this is your chance! You have won the big $2.2 million (USD) Swap-Bot lottery. Lucky you! If you're like most people, you want it in one big fat payoff. So that $2.2 million becomes $1.32 million ($1,320,000.00). But wait! The Government wants its fair share. So your $1.32 million is slightly reduced to $990,000.00. Not quite a million dollars but close enough. So how do you plan to spend it? Most people say they would pay off all their bills, maybe even all their immediate family members' bills. How many family members do you have and how much do they owe? Many people say they would buy their parents a house. What kind of house? Where? How much is this house? A three bedroom ranch house might be $370,000 in Portland, Oregon. That same house might be $170,000 in Atlanta, GA. Or it might be $750,000 in southern California. Would you travel the world? Go to Hawaii? Europe for six weeks? Would you quit your job? How long would $990,000 last you before you had to go back to work? The possibilities are endless but $990,000 spends pretty dang fast. So your task is to detail and budget just how you would spend your nearly $1 million. The more details the better. $10k to each family member? How many family members do you have? Anything to any friends? How about college for the kids in your life (your own, relatives or friends)? Would you invest? In what and how much allotted? In an email you will give a detailed list of where every dollar of your winfall will go. Feel free to give reasons for why you would or wouldn't give or spend money where. The initial assignment will be ten (10) swap partners. However, if there is a large sign up, I'll increase the partners, perhaps dramatically, since it's easy enough to email multiple people. Feel free to give input on what the preferred number of email partners would be since maybe I'm the only one who wouldn't mind 20 email partners. How would you spend your million dollars? Ratings: Obviously there are no wrong answers on how you'd spend your million dollars but more details make it so much more interesting. It's up to your partners to decide if your answers are interesting enough to deserve a heart. Welcome: Just about anyone is welcome, especially Newbies. Swappers needing to repair their ratings are also welcome, especially if the number of assigned partners gets dramatically increased. I'll review profiles and disallow the obvious recent flakers so people aren't wasting their time. |
