Colossians chapter 3 (The Key Passage is Col. 3:17)

Whatever you do..... That includes a lot of activities, doesn't it? That includes grocery shopping and cleaning the bathroom, driving all over town as a taxi for your kids, and even walking the dog. How could day-to-day chores such as these bring glory to God? It is not the "what" so much as the "how" that interests God. No matter what you are doing, focus on God. Dwell in the blessings of a home when you are scrubbing its floors. Think about the gift of your children when you are carting them around! Leave your cell phone at home when you walk to dog, and spend that time praying and enjoying God's creation. Whatever you are doing, do it in the name of Christ and with a grateful heart. This is pleasing to God.
