With the permission of @USAFwife Iβm offering our group a fun letter writing swap. InCoWriMo 2024 begins in February. InCoWriMo stands for International Correspondence Writing Month. InCoWriMo.org click this link, it will take you to the page with all the info. You don't have to participate in the official InCo to do these swaps. You can just sign up for our swap! Or you may sign you for swap #2 even if you didnβt join #1. Write a standard length group letter, minimum two pages A5 or 5x8 inches to your partner. Please write your letter TO your partner, based on previous swaps or based on their profile! Please don't write your letter ahead of time in a generic way. No form letters here please! You can use first letter guides or ways to write an intro letter to help you. Donβt be shy! Just write something. Talk about your day. Or whatever is on your mind. Does your partner share similar interests to you? Or areas related to either reading and/ or writing that you want to share or tell your partner? You could write about books or works you are reading. Or about books and other works that you want to read! Your partner may or may not write back to you. Either way is ok! Letter can be typed or handwritten, on stationery or other paper or cards. Itβs up to you. You can be creative, if you wish!! Try to keep the letter to the 2-page standard length for the group or longer but you have options here - have fun. :) Tuck in's/extras are not required - that is sender's choice, but please check your partner's profile to see what they might like to receive, or if they'd prefer not to receive anything. Envelope decoration or mail art is sender's choice. Please be sure to clearly write the NAME of the swap and your ID on or with your letter! This will be a series and can be easy to confuse. Writing the swap name/ID on the outside of the envelope is ok, but damaged mail can make it difficult to read. If you have any questions, let me know. |
