Description:

International, 1 partner, flat mail / cost of one stamp to mail.

I'm currently reading Everyday Witchcraft by Deborah Blake, and in chapter 3, she talks about a practice she once did with her first coven, where they chose a type of divination (tarot cards, runes, etc) and every day for a month, they would pull one card/stone, etc at the beginning of the day. Then they wrote down what they pulled and intuitions they got when looking at it. Then checked in at the end of the day to see if there was any relationship between what they pulled and how the day went. This sounds like a great idea to me, and I thought it might make a good swap as well. This is a practice you will do for yourself, then share the results with your partner, so choose the method that works best for you or that you are currently working with - tarot, oracle, runes, pendulum, or whatever you are currently working with or learning.

You can start this practice when you sign up for the swap and follow it for 30 days. This is not partner specific, so start when it works best for you. After 30 days, send your partner a note (letter/ note, handwritten/typed, even a post card if you can make it fit - sender's choice!) and let them know which method you used, at least how many times in your 30 days your chosen method matched your day. You can certainly go into lots of detail if you want, you can share pictures, share your list or just write a few lines on the back of a postcard. You do need to send by the send by date! If you're not finished with your 30 days, or you missed a few days, that's ok. But send your partner the swap with details for the days you've completed.

This really should be done for a full 30 days. If that doesn't happen for you, for any reason (life tends to get in our way, doesn't it?), just do your best. I encourage you to start early to give yourself plenty of time for "life".

Would you like to see this as an Email swap? Send me a PM and let me know!

Questions or comments? Please send me a PM SB does not send alerts to comments left below, and I will probably forget to check for comments, but I DO check my messages at least every other day, and I will reply as soon as I can.

Just a thought - if you want to do this but are afraid you won't have time for the daily tarot draw, for example, consider looking for a phone app for your chosen divination - it's not the best, not the same, BUT you can always do this on your phone and send yourself a screen shot to work with later! :)

Looking for a way to organize your 30 days? One of my favorite shops on Etsy is MoonHaus (formerly Wandering Moon) - I love her printables, and they're not so involved that they use too much ink! I bought this 30 day tarot challenge printable and I think I'll use it for this swap. :)
