A random bit of stitching

Hello fine people of Amberleigh! I know we are all busy working on our offerings for the Annual Fete, but in the meantime I’m hoping you’ll indulge me in a bit of fun.

I was trying to create a sewn or embroidered piece as an entry and everything seemed to not want to cooperate! My thread tangled, my fabric frayed, I even stabbed myself - twice! For this swap I’d like you to create something for your partner’s journal that is perfectly imperfect. Even a right mess! As long as it has some kind of stitching on it. (machine, hand, embroidery, thread, your choice!)

You could make a simple tag, a small notebook, or a journaling card. You could make something entirely from fabric, or just include a small little snippet on a paper project. Whatever you dream up is fine, just be sure it includes sewing in some manner.

Along with this fun little offering, include a note to your partner about something you’ve tried to do that just went wrong. Your story can be real or fictional. In your character’s voice would be the preference, but not mandatory.
