Description:

Friends! I have a really fun project idea, and I figured we'd turn it into a swap :D Today we'll make a flipbook with as many interactive elements/flips as possible! Think journal page ideas, but use them for your penpal project.

We'll make a flatmail project, so you don't have to spend too much on postage. For reference, I'll aim to make mine around 50 grams so I need two stamps only. If it's too bulky, consider sending it opened in a bigger envelope so it's flatter!

Here's the swap objective:

  • We're making a flipbook with as many hidden pockets, different textures, moveable elements, paperclipped goodies, fold out pages, tags, see-through layers, tabs and/or other elements we can think of (while still sending as flat mail)! It doesn't have to be difficult: you could use a greeting card and add in lots of extra pages flipping up, down, left or right with washi tape, hide a pretty tag in a side pocket, decorate a bag of goodies with a pretty tab sticking out of an envelope.... It doesn't have to be huge, let's just have fun! To give you some ideas, I found this awesome video for interactive journal pages: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYL7HeJN94U

  • Include a little note and some goodies of your choice. This swap is SENDERS' CHOICE, meaning it can be of your prefered style. But looking at your partners' profile is always a good idea!

  • When signing up for this swap, please keep in mind that there is a deadline. I accept all current patrons, but do have the right to disallow you to join if you have current unsent swaps or unexplained low ratings.

! Last and very important note: you can only join if you have filled out the "about" section on your profile. You can look at mine for inspiration, but the minimum would be a little information and maybe things/themes/colours you like (or dislike)! Don't forget to share your project with #CraftClubSwap and #PLBCraftClub on instagram!
