June Bug ♥ Ink Box Cards (Int'l)

Let's make two (2) collaged 3" x 3" ink box cards for one (1) partner in a "June Bug" theme -- but with a twist!

Create your two ink box cards with:

➖ a "June" theme
➖ a "bug" theme
➖ a "June bug" theme
➖ or some combination of the above

You are free to interpret the "June bug" theme as you wish. Light or dark, the interpretation is yours! It might be nice to include a note for your swap partner to share your unique inspiration, especially if it's not obvious. Here are just a few ways you might wish to interpret the "June bug" theme:

• In JUNE, many cultures celebrate Midsummer, also known as Litha. You could create cards honoring this multicultural celebration.
• JUNE Cleaver was a popular television mom back in the late 1950's. Show your retro love by making cards themed to that era, or the "Leave it to Beaver" TV show.
• "JUNE BUG" is the nickname for a genus of beetle with over 100 species. Insect-themed ink box cards would be amazing!
• Volkswagen manufactured one of the most recognizable cars of all time: The VW Beetle, affectionately also called a "BUG." How fun would it be, to feature these beloved vehicles in your art?

After partners are assigned, you'll have two weeks to complete your work before the mail-by date, which is the last day of the month. This is not a profile-based swap, so you can dive in to creating right away!
