Profile Deco Swap - Ο Pi Day Info from: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pi_Day (Not to be confused with National Pie Day) Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant Ο (pi). Pi Day is observed on March 14 (3/14 in the month/day format) since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of Ο. It was founded in 1988 by Larry Shaw, an employee of the Exploratorium. Celebrations often involve eating pie or holding pi recitation competitions. In 2009, the United States House of Representatives supported the designation of Pi Day. UNESCO's 40th General Conference designated Pi Day as the International Day of Mathematics in November 2019. You'll have 3 partners for this swap. On each partner's profile leave them a comment with at least 3 images or gifs of the current theme - Ο Pi Day. You can use the same set of images for each partner. Instructions: Image search for the perfect picture or gif. Right click on image and click on Copy Image Address. Go to you partner's profile and leave a comment using the following pattern. Name of swap ! [ ] ( PASTE IMAGE ADDRESS ) Add at least 3 images or gifs. A great tip is to first post your comment on your own profile. By doing this you get to see exactly what it will look like when you post on others and you can delete the comment easily. If the image is too big it will cut part of it off and look funny. If you need help or have any questions send me a message! This is a newbie friendly swap, but please have a well filled out profile. Please rate as soon as your partner posts on your profile. |
