Description:

Lay the first stencil on your 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 ATC or larger piece to cut down to ATC size. I did this on my craft mat. If you do not have one, you can use wax paper.

Using blending tool, paint brush or foam brush, paint part of the ATC thru the stencil. I used Distress Paint from Tim Holtz but Acrylic Paint will work also. Lift the stencil & go wash it. Let the paint dry.

Using a blending tool, ink over the ATC using 3 or 4 colors that go well together.

Place the 2nd stencil over the ATC & ink the area left blank from your first stencil.

Finish the ATC any way you want. This is a technique for your background so make sure some of it shows as you finish the ATC.

Add a sturdy backing with your Swap bot info. Mail in protective sleeve if you are able to send & receive mail.

The first stencil you used for paint was the plaid?

No, my first was the beehive. The 2nd was the plaid.
