Description:

Inspired by @Autist 's swaps from last year, this series of swaps will be exploring various art techniques.

Who is up for trying out various art techniques? I am hoping that this series of swaps will motivate myself and others to just have fun, make a mess, and enjoy the journey of the art making without fussing about the end result.

I recommend to get started BEFORE partners are assigned. You do not need to check profiles for this swap. Pick colors that you have on hand, that you want to experiment with, that you think will particularly work well with this technique.

Your ATC can just be the result of doing this art technique, or if you wish to embellish it further, go ahead, but it is not required.

Cardstock/watercolor paper is acceptable, if you use thinner paper than that, please mount onto something sturdier. Standard ATC size (2.5" x 3.5") required. Plastic sleeves not required. Most important rule - have fun!!

3 partners - send 1 ATC to each.

Floating Chalk Painting!!

This is a fun technique that has some amazing results! All you need is colored chalk and a pan of water. Add a couple of inches of water to a rectangular pan (larger than your piece of paper). Scrape the chalk over the water- use a popsicle stick or butter knife, so that you just have powdery chalk that floats on top of the water. Gently set your paper face down on it, then remove it and let it dry.

@LindaSP mine to you has been re-sent, but that was on me and some number dyslexia! But yeah, the mail recently has been really, really weird. Somethings move so fast, others just get lost in the ether, and others just seem to take nearly a month to go anywhere.
