This is a swap for any of you who loves to send and receive snail mail with a space/galaxy theme.
For this swap you will have to send at least 5 space themed goodies for a total of minimum 20 grams. Sending more is ok but it’s up to each sender. Please do decorate the envelope a little, too.
One of the items MUST be a sheet with at least 5 interesting facts about the universe. Do a little research and write some facts to your partner. You can include these facts in a letter, or just add another piece of paper to the swap, as you prefer.
Here are some categories of goodies you may send to your partner:
- Books or magazines cut outs
- Patterned paper
- Stamped or printed images
- Ephemeras
- Postcards
- Some die cuts
- A few stickers
- Washi tape samples (at least 30 cm)
- Embellishments and decorations
- Any other decoration or paper craft of the same theme
Also, the facts sheet might include:
- Discoveries about the universe
- Facts about the universe exploration (do you know anything cool about the space race, the international space station or about any astronaut? Tell your partner!)
- Myths about planets, the sun/moon, or constellations
- Something about our solar system, our galaxy, how a black hole or a galaxy is made, etc.
Please, don’t send anything you wouldn’t like to receive. Remember to include a note with the swap name and your username and to decorate the envelope a little, so it’s extra happy to receive it.
To summarize:
- One space-theme decorate envelope which will include the following
- One fact sheet with 5 facts about the universe
- 4 other space themed items
- A note with your Swap-Bot nickname and the swap’s name
