Description:

Letโ€™s share some fun, handmade envelopes!

These may be made using decorative scrapbook papers or up-cycled from maps, paper bags, calendars, etc.

๐Ÿ’ŒThe key here is that theyโ€™re flat, functional, and most of all fun (no flimsy and plain paper envies allowed in this swap)! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • One (1) partner
  • Four (4) different envelopes
  • Senderโ€™s choice of envelope sizes, shapes, and designs. However, envelopes that are ATC sized or smaller will need a quantity of two to count as one full-sized envelope.
  • Each envelope will have an identifiable theme or flat, decorative add on. Please include a note telling your partner what that is, if itโ€™s not obvious.
  • Each envelope will be made using either a sturdy enough paper to be used for mailing, or lined to improve durability.

Optional Extras: include a solid โ€œwhitespaceโ€ area or label for the mailing address on front of the envelopes. Also, if you have something like Scor-tape (peel-n-stick style double-sided tape) on the inside flap for sealing that would make these envelopes truly ready-to-use! Itโ€™s not required. But I think that itโ€™s just a heart-worthy extra effort! As swap coordinator, Iโ€™m mentioning that I โค๏ธ it when my envelopes come ready-to-use!

Think fun usefulness here folks!

Most certainly an envelope made of a single sheet of cheap printer paper or old magazine page wonโ€™t cut it. But if you double that up with some good adhesive in between the sheets/pages then itโ€™s more likely to be good-to-go through a USPS feeder machine! No guarantees, of course. I know the machines can be brutal to anything (even cardboard chunks), but Iโ€™d like to see swap participants at the very least tried to send a sturdy set of envelopes.

I have also received some beautiful envelopes that folks printed on high-quality photo paper, so these ARE ALLOWED in this swap. If youโ€™re fussy about that, this is not the swap for you.

Also, if youโ€™re a swapper who thinks that USPS never loses mail, and either refuses to allow or unfairly rates a resend with a โ€œ3โ€, then my swaps are not for you either.

If your partner(s) or myself as the swap coordinator has been communicative and thoroughly followed through with the swap requirements, then Swap-bot guidelines state a โ€œ5โ€ rating is to be given. I will be making the deadline date far out into next month to ensure all participants are rated promptly and according to guidelines.

Itโ€™s disappointing to see the ratings drop on good swappers because of unrealistic beliefs and impatient people, so I will no longer tolerate that unkind behavior and ban you from all swaps I coordinate or groups I am founder of.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER: This opinion is my own, and does not indicate how you must rate with or without hearts, nor is it at all reflective of admins beliefs. Just in case anyone missed the part where I said this is my opinion. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

Feel free to host this swap in your own way, if youโ€™re of a different mind. No offense will be taken on this end! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Last but not least, have FUN swapping distress-free! I always angel my swaps. Please direct message me if you have any questions or concerns at anytime. I log in once a day now that I have multiple groups to manage.
